The Middleman is a show about a badass young artist (Wendy Watson, as played by Natalie Morales) who gets recruited by the titular hero The Middleman (played by Matt Keeslar) to help him in the fight against comic book evil such as zombie fish, vampire puppets and evil boy bands.

The show, based on the graphic novels by writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach and artist Les McClaine, aired for 12 episodes on ABC Family in 2008 and was given a comic book series finale in 2009. The Middleman was clever, geeky and action-packed, full of pop-culture references and witty dialogue. This is a fan-run fandom blog--feel free to ask questions or submit content! • Middleman '69: I can tell your boss isn't really the type to have these sorts of chats with you, but I'm just gonna lay it down straight: have all the fun you want with your guy, but cast him aside before you fall in love.
• Wendy: You don't believe in love?
• Middleman '69: Well, of course I believe in love, that's what we fight for, so the world can love. Unfortunately, we're not the world. I've seen it before: everyone starts this job the same way, wide-eyed idealist thinking they can have it all, save the day and get the girl, but it always ends the same way.
• Wendy: How does it always end?
• Middleman '69: The love of your life eviserated by some supergenius in a cape and a body sock.
• Wendy: That happened to you.
• Middleman '69: That's how it ended with my first wife. And the third, and the fourth.
• Wendy: What about the second?
• Middleman '69: She left me. For a super villain.

I just checked the follower count and realized how high it’s gotten…so here’s some fresh-out-of-the-freezer Middleman ‘69 to celebrate having 69 followers!

An article from before “The Obsolescent Cryogenic Meltdown” that briefly discusses Kevin Sorbo’s Middleman ‘69 and includes a video from our Middlemanager!

I really wish ABCFamily.com hadn’t totally erased the videos and pages for The Middleman, because the behind-the-scenes videos and Javi-casts were some of the funniest moments! Anyone know where to find them online? I know the Javi-casts are on the dvds, but I don’t know about any of the other little videos.
