The Middleman is a show about a badass young artist (Wendy Watson, as played by Natalie Morales) who gets recruited by the titular hero The Middleman (played by Matt Keeslar) to help him in the fight against comic book evil such as zombie fish, vampire puppets and evil boy bands.

The show, based on the graphic novels by writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach and artist Les McClaine, aired for 12 episodes on ABC Family in 2008 and was given a comic book series finale in 2009. This show. This show. I fell head-over-heels in love after the first episode and it just got better from there. If you like genre shows, comic books, snarky banter, robots, aliens, vampires, or alternate universes, you will love this show. If you are stuck in a job you’re not fond of and wish that someone would walk into your office and offer you the best job ever, you will love this show. There’s something for everyone. Unfortunately, it’s only 12 episodes long.
